These programs are only available to La Red de Padres participants. If you are interested in benefiting from any of these programs please contact your community coordinator. They will be able to help you into applying for them.
CLIMBING TOWARD OUR FUTURE
A volunteer program where Middle and High School students are paired with college students and or professionals. This program is intended to close the gap for our immigrant children. They will go through a curriculum that teaches them how to get ready for college, how to pay, and finally how to select the perfect college.
DIGITAL LITERACY
A program where adults are paired with a tech savy volunteer. They will be taught how to navigate important applications such as Microsft, Zoom, Black Board, Canvas and others. These programs are needed to understand for their children's academic success.
HOMEWORK HELPER
Students from 1st Grade to 12th Grade will be assigned a volunteer who assists them with their homework. This program is for families who struggle academically due to language barrier and not comprehension in general.
ESOL PROGRAM
This program is intended as an add on at the weekly La Red workshop. A volunteer will be working with child to learn tips and skills in bettering their English and prepare them for school.
