Miguel Rios

Board President

Miguel Rios is the Regional Enforcement Coordinator for Agricultural Investigations at the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division. There, he oversees investigations of agricultural employers in the southeastern United States, ensuring compliance with federal laws that protect workers’ rights to proper wages, housing, transportation, and other working conditions. Miguel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and has been a Tampa resident for over 40 years. He holds a BFA from the University of South Florida and has been a member of USF’s Alumni Association since 1995. Miguel enjoys playing tennis, mountain biking, traveling with his wife Yanira, and working on his 1974 MGB.
